Khaya Cookie Company

Khaya Cookie Company

Social entrepreneurship combined with consumer product savvy was at the core of Khaya Cookie Company. Born in South Africa, via the Societal Wealth Programme at Wharton, the company’s founders first came to us with the challenge of helping them launch a socially responsible luxury food brand. Khaya – the Xhosa word for “home” – grew from the passed-down recipes from generations of women in South Africa. Our work was to create a strategy, visual identity, visual language and packaging that would tell the stories of these women in ways that would translate to the luxury food consumer in the United States.

Services provided: strategy development, visual identity, visual language development, packaging design
